The Ultimate Guide to Homeschool Co-ops

If you are involved in a co-op then you know it takes a lot of commitment and determination to both attend the co-op as well as plan and run it! As a co-op leader I know the blessings and the burdens of ‘co-oping’ very well. But I am also here to say that it can be done well and it can bring much fruit to your family’s homeschool. Here is a collection of articles from the writers at the iHomeschool Network regarding ‘co-oping’ from all different angles that I know will bless your families!

National Co-ops & Communities
  • Classical Conversations – A learning community with a predetermined courses and curriculum. It is classical in nature and found throughout the United States.
  • Schole Groups – “A Scholé Group is a homeschooling community comprised of three or more families employing the content of a classical curriculum and the pedagogy of restful learning embodied by the concept of scholé.” This is  new community that Classical Academic Press is rolling out this year.
  • My Father’s World Synergy Groups– A Synergy Group™ provides a weekly community for two or more like-minded families to encourage each other and gain the many benefits of working together.
To Co-op or not to Co-op that is the Question!
