This was another great week of school for us we sterted our Co-op & Currclick Online Classes.
This week we took Tuesday off because it was Pearson’s 10th birthday.
Peyton is doing well and managed to stay caught up on everything. This has been a problem in the past. Right now she is scheduled to start a few new books in September.
She is working more independently this year as a 7th grader. Although we have had several discussions in which I remind her that I’m her managing teacher and if I expect her to do more or less then that is what she needs to do. I’m sure those of you who use outside teachers have had similar conversations with your children too. 😉 She is making really good progress in her school work and will have her first Math Test next week.
Well we have not had a perfect week with this one we will continue to work on diligence. She is a butterfly chaser and often starts a subject then flits off to another subject.
Zayne and Providence are starting to separate and differentiate themselves as twins! Who knew twins are actually two different people not one person in two bodies.;) Unfortunately it doesn’t look like they will be doing the exact same things at the exact same time. Drats! Zayne is powering through his math and Providence is powering through her reading! They are a difficult, hysterical and a joy to teach.
Co-op & Currclick Online Classes
We always look forward to the start of our little co-op which has grown this year by 3 families! It has been very exciting to be able to open it up to more families. Our co-op has 4 class periods:
- General Science
- Little Kids physics
Mystery of History Volume
- History Enrichment
- Classical Composition
- Life Skills
Hooray we started out Currclick General Science online class this week too! This is the second class we have taken from Mrs. Mackin at Currclick and our 3rd Currclick class. We have really enjoyed the classes and the hard work that the teachers put in at Currclick really shines through. Plus the price is great! Are you considering an online Class with Currclick you can read my review of Currclick’s Online Classes.
The kids also started Cross Country which hasn’t gone over as well as I hoped but it’s good for them right?Save money, time and get it done, go ahead and subscribe!
