heart for Christmas aspired living wikicommons pix

As Christmas time comes into focus don’t let the things of the world rob you of the excellent things of God.

Be Thankful…

The word tells us to be thankful in all circumstances. Sometimes during the rush ofChristmas activities and purchases we can lose sight of truth.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Be Praiseful…

Recognize that Christ has given us an amazing gift that we cannot repay, he has freed us from sin and death. Praise him for his life, death and his suffering on the cross which gives those of us who believe the the gift eternal life.

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17
