5 Pumpkin Pie Spice Latte Recipes

Look folks it’s fall and it’s the time I’ll blow a wad of money at Starbucks chasing after their Pumpkin Latte. But I have come to the sad realization that their pumpkin Lattes are not the bomb diggety! First of all they do not even have pumpkin, very sad. So I am on a quest to find the perfect Pumpkin Latte to enjoy lazy fall days with. Okay not lazy, jam packed with homeschooling, soccer, music and whatever else pops up. But in that, moment and a half, I get every 3rd Tuesday….it’s latte time! 🙂

Make your own Pumpkin Spice Latte from Good Housekeeping

This Pumpkin Spice Latte recipe also has you making a syrup and adding it to your latte. They use pumpkin pie spice and only a 1/4 cup of pumpkin. One of their suggestions is that you can also drizzle this over ice cream or add it to your smoothie…etc. Also the chart on this post is from Good Housekeeping and we would like to thank them for breaking down the potential savings.

Starbucks Copycat Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

Our final Pumpkin spice Latte Recipe has an interesting twist. First it wants you to use cheese cloth, which is not something that I normally keep on hand. However, if you can jelly regularly you probably do have some handy.

2 Tips to cut  even more costs on your Pumpkin Pie Spice Latte
  • Buy your cinnamon sticks from the Mexican food section. The cinnamon sticks are considerably cheaper (like 50% less in my store) and as far as I can tell there is no difference in taste.
  • Make your own pumpkin pie spice from the spices you have on hand.

So now that you have 5 mouth watering choices at your finger tips, there is nothing left to do but drink coffee!
